You can invoke the disciplinary procedures but you may get better results with providing positive incentives for workers to turn up for work each day. Some businesses provide attendance bonuses on a weekly/monthly basis whilst others give refunds on accommodation at the end of the season.

If you have workers with high level of poor attendance it may be worth talking to them to find out why they don’t want to come to work and what incentives might be available to encourage their attendance.
